Hardback. No dust jacket. Worn condition: edges rubbed, especially the spine, and marks on cover.  Reg Vallintine bookplate on inside front cover. Front endpaper inscribed, ‘Couview[?], Les Vardes, Guernsey’. The front endpaper is heavily rubbed where an inscription has been rubbed out.
