Description
When Augustus Siebe had established his workshop at 5 Denmark Street, London, he produced a trade card to advertise his manufacturing capabilities. The front of the card was printed in landscape format and listed some of his patents, elaborately arranged around the arms of King William IV. Siebe’s Denmark Street address was given at the bottom of the card.
The reverse side of the card was printed in portrait format and listed some of Siebe’s products: from diving apparatus to soda water machines.
This notelet reproduces both sides of the original trade card: the front (in landscape format) on the front of the notelet; and the reverse on the back of the notelet (in portrait format).
The card is 146 mm x 103 mm (approx. 5.75 in x 4 in). An envelope is included.
