‘Shipwrecks of the World’ is an illustrated talk by Richard Jones, author and wreck diving specialist.
Richard has been researching shipwrecks for more than 29 years and has written eleven books – mostly on forgotten historical events and disasters. His aim is to commemorate as many forgotten incidents as possible; his work has already led to six memorial plaques being installed to recognise the victims of such tragedies.
His talk will focus on wrecks that have some significance, interesting stories and wrecks that he has dived on himself.
He will also talk about the work he does including past and future projects.
