Comic seaside postcards are a British tradition and many of the postcards featured in this talk are ambassadors of that genre – the cheeky, the ‘naughty’, and the satirical are all represented.
Commander Marks’ talk is an entertaining ‘pick and mix’ of comical postcards, especially from the early days of the Bamforth company. There are lots of laughs, lots of diving related cards and some adult humour, so suitable for a mature audience.
A thoroughly enjoyable night out.
