Robert Gibbings was an Irish artist and author who was most noted for his work as a wood engraver and sculptor, and for his books on travel and natural history. This book, about his travels in the South Pacific islands, is illustrated with many of his drawings.
Hard back in fair condition. No dust jacket. Corners rubbed (sometimes through to the boards). Reg Vallintine bookplate on inside front cover. Very slight foxing on endpapers. Pages in good condition.
