From the fly: Some Cambridge graduates about to complete their last year at the University, and in imminent danger of employment, conceived the idea of prolonging their freedom for a year by organising one of those expeditions which so many magnificent institutions always seem eager to support and finance. After some enquiry, they decided that British Honduras, a comparatively unpublicised country of great natural beauty and having an agreeable climate, would provide a suitable location. In this book members of the Expedition record their impression of the Colony and their many adventures by land and sea, and under the sea.
