Divers at work on the A1 submarine
Limited edition print of two divers in standard dress working on the recovery of the Royal Navy’s first all-British submarine, A1.
A1 sank in The Solent in 1911.
The original painting was based on a drawing by C M Padday from a description given by one of the divers.
Each numbered print is signed by the artist, A Stewart.
Limited edition of 250 prints.
The image is 23.5cm x 32cm on a sheet which is 30cm x 42cm.

50% of the cost of each print will be donated to Project Vernon – a campaign to erect a monument at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth to commemorate the mine warfare and diving heritage of HMS Vernon which occupied the site until 1996.
