Contents include the development of the diving suit (rubber and ‘shell’ suit) as well as salvage procedures before discussing specific salvage jobs such as HMS Vindictive, the gold from the Egypt, the American battleship Maine, and early attempts to recover the Grosvenor’s treasure the Armada treasure in Toberbory.
