The story of the salvage of the gold and silver from SS Egypt which sank at 70 fathoms off Finisterre. The salvage was carried out by the Italian company, Sorima, using the salvage vessel, Artiglio.

Hardback. No dust jacket. Red cloth covers; small marks; slightly faded spine. HDS bookplate on inside front cover which is also inscribed, ‘David Blair’ and stamped ‘D K W Blair’.  The ink which coloured the top of the outer edges of the pages has bled slightly on the top of the first 20 pages or so. Very small tear at the top edge of page 23.
