This is the story of the adventures of James E. Williamson who spent a good deal of his life on and under the Sea. Together with his brother Ernst, he developed what they called the Photosphere to study life beneath the surface of the Ocean. The Photosphere was used to take the first motion pictures under the sea.
Hardback. No dust jacket. Worn condition. Front cover and spine faded; it appears as if the book cloth has separated from the spine and been glued back in place.
Reg Vallintine bookplate on inside front cover. Front endpaper signed by the author, ‘With best wishes J E Williamson’.
Although the cover is in worn condition, the book is signed by the author and the inside pages are in good condition.
