HTG (HDS Germany) are holding their Annual Classic Diver Meeting in Hamburg in June. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
If you would like to attend, please register early with Frank Werthwein: frank.werthwein@historische-tauchergesellschaft.de as many of the venue choices will depend on numbers attending.
ACCOMMODATION
Hamburg is very busy during the summer months, especially at weekends. Make sure you book your accommodation in good time, especially Air bnb accommodation if you want to find inexpensive rooms and apartments.

FRIDAY 14 JUNE
Ulf Barthel will be arranging helmet diving in Hemmoor Lake. The Lake is approximately an hour and three quarters drive from Hamburg. If you are interested, please register directly with Ulf for further details: ulf.barthel@historische-tauchergesellschaft.de
1800h: Cosy get together to socialise and ‘talk shop’. The venue is to be confirmed and will depend on the number of attendees.
SATURDAY 15 JUNE
1000–1800h: AGM for HTG members onboard the museum ship MS Bleichen
For those not attending the AGM, the four-masted barque Peking is close to the MS Bleichen and is worth a visit (booking is recommended).
The Harbour Museum is also located on the same site.
1800h: Informal get together to socialise. The venue is to be confirmed and will depend on the number of attendees.
SUNDAY 16 JUNE
1000h–open ended
Lakeside meeting with helmet diving and the opportunity to display historical material. (Please bring table and chairs if you wish to exhibit any artefacts).
Drinks and a barbecue will be on site.
