Stolen Property Register

Item Ref 03: Siebe 12-bolt helmet

£500 (GBP) REWARD
for information leading to its return

An unusual helmet was stolen from the workshop of Tony Pardoe in Exmouth, UK in May 2000.

The helmet is in poor condition but has an interesting history and for this reason Tony is anxious for information.

The three main identifying features are:

1. Although the helmet is a Siebe Gorman 12 Bolt the front corselet name stamping has been replaced with an oblong label reading:

CZANNONI LA SPEZIA
AGENTS FOR ITALY

2. The bars on the side window guards have been sawn off leaving only stubs showing.

3. Four of the brass studs holding the brasses in place have been replaced with steel ones.
