Old Doctor Butler's Head
25th November 2006

The second revival (like the second coming only much more fun) of the
ANNUAL SIEBE GORMAN SUPPER
will be held at the original venue,
The Old Doctor Butler’s Head
Masons Yard, City of London, on Saturday 25th November

Guests, who should be suitably dressed for the occasion (and that does not mean standard dress!) should assemble in the bar of the aforesaid premises from 7pm (that’s in the evening, Liz) for pre-supper drinks. A 3-course supper will be served in the top floor assembly room (the one immediately beneath the roof) as in days of yore, following which the merriment will commence.

The evening’s entertainment will, like the better kind of football match, be in two halves with an intermission to enable the re-charging of glasses and other necessary functions.
Our compère is Dominic ‘British as the Flag’ le Feu
from the Players’ Theatre
Heather Wright (formerly of the Royal Opera House Cloakroom) will lead the singing
accompanied by Chris (Mitcham’s answer to Colin Sell*) Hart on the electronic keyboard.

Guests will be required to take part in medley singing, join in the chorus (song sheets will be provided; if you are non-literate just hum), listen respectfully to some remarkable recitations read by the more talented members of the Society and join in the toasts.

There should be time for night caps before we are thrown out at midnight.

*I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue

The evening will cost just £30

YES! I do want to come out and play!
NO – I want to sit in front of the telly and suck my thumb.
