Historical Diving Society Awards

Recognition of achievements
in the field of diving history

As part of its aim to protect and preserve our diving heritage, The Historical Diving Society makes a series of awards annually to recognise the achievements of individuals in furthering this aim.

The awards are listed below, and (with the exception of the Historical Diving Society award, which is for members of the HDS only) may be awarded to anyone who in the opinion of the judging panel meets the criteria for the particular award.

Anyone may make a nomination, which should be addressed to the Secretary of the HDS, and must reach him by June 1st of the year of nomination. Winners will be notified by August, and the presentation of the award will be made at the Historical Diving Society's Annual Dinner, held in November.

THE HISTORICAL DIVING SOCIETY AWARD
